London, England - Chelsea FC secured their place in the FA Cup semi-finals with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Leicester City on Sunday at the King Power Stadium.
Marcos Alonso gave the Blues the lead in the 30th minute with a powerful strike from outside the box. Leicester City drew level just before half-time through a well-taken goal from Kelechi Iheanacho.
The second half saw Chelsea dominate possession, and they were rewarded for their efforts in the 63rd minute when Mason Mount slotted home the winner from close range.
Chelsea held on to their lead in the closing stages of the match and will now face Manchester City in the semi-finals on April 16.
