Former Pro Bowl Wide Receiver Announces Retirement

Cobb Played 13 Seasons with Green Bay Packers, Dallas Cowboys, Houston Texans, and New York Jets

Randall Cobb, a former Pro Bowl wide receiver, has announced his retirement from the NFL after 13 seasons. Cobb spent the majority of his career with the Green Bay Packers, where he was a key contributor to the team's success during their run to the Super Bowl XLV title.

Cobb's decision to retire comes after a season in which he played for the New York Jets. He had previously spent time with the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans after leaving the Packers in 2019. Cobb's retirement marks the end of a successful NFL career that included 619 receptions, 7,392 receiving yards, and 48 touchdowns.

Cobb was known for his versatility and ability to make big plays. He was a reliable target for quarterbacks Aaron Rodgers and Dak Prescott, and he also contributed as a return specialist and on special teams. Cobb's retirement leaves a void in the NFL, but he will be remembered as one of the most consistent and productive wide receivers of his generation.
