Aston Villa raced into a two-goal lead at half-time in the Premier League contest at Molineux
Wolverhampton Wanderers left it late to salvage a 2-2 draw against Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday, with José Sá impressing in goal.
The visitors stunned Wolves with two quick-fire goals in the first half, with Douglas Luiz opening the scoring in the 25th minute and Danny Ings doubling their lead 10 minutes later.
Sá comes to the rescue
Portugal international Sá made several crucial saves to keep Wolves in the game, including a stunning stop to deny Leon Bailey in the first half.
He continued to shine after the break, making a brilliant save to keep out a header from Ollie Watkins.
Wolves fight back
Wolves fought back in the second half and pulled a goal back through Adama Traoré in the 78th minute. The hosts continued to push for an equaliser and were rewarded in the 95th minute when Rayan Aït-Nouri converted from close range to snatch a dramatic point.
The result leaves Wolves 16th in the Premier League table, while Aston Villa move up to 11th.
